I’m a young guy, early twenties, thinning in a NW6 pattern. I’m on finasteride right now.Eventually of course I expect to lose a decent amount, but is it a good idea for me to keep taking finasteride in order to preserve as much hair as possible, perhaps with a view towards saving donor hair for a future HT?
Answers: That’s really your only option. If you stop taking finasteride now, you’ll lose more hair, which means less hair available to transplant.
